Danna's
Short Inspired Devotions from the Bible
"One's philosophy is not best expressed in words; it's expressed, in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends, until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility."
Eleanor Roosevelt

Pick It Up For Yourself
2 Kings 6:4-7 states: "So he went with them, and when they came to the Jordan, they cut down trees. But as one was cutting down a tree, the iron ax head fell into the water, and he cried out and said: 'Alas, master! For it was borrowed.' So the man of God said: "Where did it fall?" And he showed him the place. So he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float. Therefore he said: 'Pick it up for yourself.' So he reached out his hand and took it."
I want you to know, that Jesus is the friend, who sharpens us to look more like Him.
I also want you to know, that Jesus is the One we cry out to, when it comes to making us it right, and fixing us.
Never forget, that on our behalf, Jesus is the One who stirs the waters of healing.
Today I want you to remember, Jesus has finished the work, when He was nailed to the cross. And now, because of this, salvation has been laid before us. So if we are going to live our lives for Jesus, then we are going to live it as someone who has been set free. This is one of the reasons why we have God's Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us. And since this is the case, then we have to make the choice, when it comes to picking if up for ourselves; picking up the very thing, that the Lord has laid before, which eternal salvation -- Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
