The Idea Behind it:
This illustration is inspired by the recorded account of Noah and his Ark. First off, when it comes to this account, know that the raven was the first of two birds that Noah was sending out. He did this so that the birds could scout the area for dry land from above. For the birds would help him to be able to see, if the waters from the Great Flood had completely receded.
"So it came to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. Then he sent out a raven, which kept going to and fro until the waters had dried up from the earth." -- Genesis 8:6,7
Nevertheless, it's
from within this illustration, one will notice how the Raven is sitting outside
the Ark, when all of a sudden, he gets hit with a really big raindrop. Needless
to say, we can clearly see that the raven did not like it. Now this is just a fun
perspective when it comes to Noah and the Raven, a perspective that was inspired from the recorded account of Noah and his Ark.
