The Life Patterns of a Christian
Isaiah 40:31 states: "But those who wait on the Lord, will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run, and not grow weary. They will walk, and not faint."
I'd like to think, that the patterns of one's Christian life, actually runs from suffering to glory. Need I remind you, that there's a point, where we fall down, and then we have to pick ourselves up again, and walk. Need I remind you, that there's also a point, where we get tired, and then we're able to catch a second breathe, that enables us to run close to full speed again.
And if we can't finish the race on our own, then guess what, through our faith in Christ, we are mounted up, on the wings of eagles.
Understand that we do not walk, or run alone, for you see, there is One, who's with us at all times.
My beloved, I'm speaking about the Holy Spirit; which is a Spirit, that our Heavenly Father has sent, so that it can dwell from within us.
Always remember, that the Holy Spirit is willing to carry you today; carry you in such a way, that you may find yourself soaring over troubled waters. Oh how spiritually liberating it is, to do a fly over, as we look down at the heavy burdens that we have left behind, in our Father's hands.
So keep these things in mind, as our Christian life patterns, move us from living defeated, to where we now live, with purpose; to where we now live, for Christ; for it's through Him, that all things are made possible.
And it's for this reason, that we can now go, from wondering if we are able to hear Christ, to now knowing, that we're able to hear Him, when He calls; to where we now go, from calling on Jesus; to Jesus calling on you. So today, let's complete the pattern, by finishing the race -- Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
