The High Cost of Sin
Romans 6:23 states: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Roman 8:32 states: "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
Matthew 20:28 states: "Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."
Have you ever thought about, what it cost, when we give in to sin? I'll tell you this, it could cost you everything!
Have you ever thought about, how much you risk being destroyed, when we give in to sin? My guess would be... everything!
But when it comes to being able to overcome the power of sin, who has a greater power, when it comes to removing it? Well, that would be none other, than Jesus Christ!
I want you to always remember, that we have been justified, sanctified, and glorified by the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For He gave everything (including His life) in order to save us. So I ask you, what do you plan to give Jesus today?
Will it be strife with others, or what about conflict, bitterness, and maybe even resentment? What about your hopes and dreams, or your plans and desires? I'll tell you this, whatever you decide to give Jesus today, I assure you, you'll be better off leaving it with Him. For you can be certain, that there's nothing in your life, that's too hard for the Lord to handle. For it's the faith that you have in Him, that has made all things are possible -- Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
