Danna's
Short Inspired Devotions from the Bible
"I think when it came to my feelings during that night; I know that they were most exalted, that I'd ever had. Suddenly my mind felt clothed with light; clothed, as with a garment, and it was during that moment, I'd felt silenced before God. And so it was, that during that night, I cried with the heavenly feeling of humility and repentance."

The Voice of One?
John 1:19-23 states: "Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, 'Who are you?' He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, 'I am not the Christ.' And they asked him, 'What then? Are you Elijah?' He said, 'I am not.' "Are you the Prophet?"
"And he answered, 'No.' Then they said to him, 'Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?'
"He said: 'I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the Lord, as the prophet Isaiah said.'"
Oh yes! There it is:
"I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the Lord!"
And just like John just pointed out, Isaiah also said this -- "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God." -- Isaiah 40:3
However, we must not only say it in words, but in our actions as well. Remember we are the ambassadors for Christ; and so therefore, it's up to us, to make straight the way of the Lord. For I want you to know, that when you read the Word, that makes the way straight; When you share the Word, that makes the way straight; when you go live the life of Jesus Christ, that makes the way straight.
So with that being stated; today let's follow the example of John the Baptist, by letting our voices turn the hearts of many, towards the loving goodness of Jesus Christ -- Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
