The Center-Cut of God's Heart
Hebrews 11:4 states: "It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. God accepted Abel’s offering to show that he was a righteous man. And although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us because of his faith."
I'll tell you this, the best part of any cut of meat, is the center-cut of that meat. Understand, that it's these types of cuts, that have no fat to trim, no bones to be removed, and no skin to take off; it's this type of cut meat, that is simply ready for the fire. Now there are some, that have been recorded from within the Scriptures, that I truly believe, could fit well from within this type of cut, that I'm speaking of.
Some of these people are like Able, for I'd like to think, that he was a center-cut.
I also like to think, that Joseph was a center-cut; and obliviously we can't forget Christ, for He's the best cut, that's above all.
Nonetheless, know that Able gave his best offering to God. And when it came to Joseph, know that he gave the best reason, when it came to saying no to temptation.
And when it comes to Christ, know that they are many reasons, that makes Him the best cut of all. For if it wasn't for Christ, we all would be condemned, to have to endure an eternal death. Today, now that we have been sanctified; and now that we strive to live our lives for Christ; and now that (through Christ) we are the center-cuts of God's heart, it's time to face the fiery challenges of this world, by standing boldly and courageously for our Lord Jesus Christ.
For I want you to know, that we have been seasoned for this very reason. So today, let us give our best offering to those around us, and let's do it in accordance of God's will. So beginning today, let's do a much job of saying no to temptation. And thanks to Christ, we are now heirs to God's Eternal Kingdom. Now may I ask: Wouldn't you agree, that choosing to go and sin no more, would be the best choice for us to make today? Now if you said yes; then I pray that God will keep you seasoned, and prepared, for the soul-winning task that's now at hand - Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
