The Invisible War
Exodus 14:13-14 states: "And Moses said to the people, do not be afraid; stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."
Luke 22:31-32 states: "And the Lord said, 'Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.'"
Now in this corner, weighing in with only three letters, for he's the one who's able to destroy families; able to control minds; able to wreck friendships, and change the destinies of the weak -- it's sin!
And in the other corner, weighing in with amazing grace; the One who's able to calm storms, able to chase demons...
...the One who's capable of removing the sinful stains from your spiritual garments...
...the One who's able to gain you entry into God's eternal mansion; which is a magnificent mansion that dwells in glory.
The One who's able to save the lost, and heal the sick; the One who's able to bring you from a mighty long way. I wonder, do you know Him? For He's the King of kings, and the Lord of lords -- Jesus Christ!
Now if you aren't sure of your faith, when it comes to Christ? If you're also thinking of another way, when it comes to living your day-to-day, instead of placing your faith into God's only begotten Son; by placing Him at the center of your life? I want you to know, that Satan will ask for you, so that he may shift you like wheat.
And it's for this reason, why we must learn to let the Lord fight our battles; trust God enough, to where we can take everything that concerns us to Him in prayer. Remember that the invisible war rages on for our souls; which makes it all the more important, that we be steadfast in our faith, while we are found standing strong in that very same faith. I challenge you, to start trusting God enough, to where you can have the patience to wait on the Lord, as you let the salvation of the Lord work miracles from within your everyday life -- Amen.
I hope and pray, that Danna's short devotion, was in some way, a blessing to you
