God's Eternal Gift
John 3:16 states: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
One of the many things that I love about the Christmas season, deals with the type of experience that have as they celebrate throughout the season. For I find that their experience provides one with a time of excitement. It's also during this time, many people are found loving the chance to be able to show their just how much they truly love their loved ones, families and friends, especially when it comes to being able to show this love through the buying of presents and gifts. I even seen people go out of their way, just to see if they're able to be a blessing to their love ones, by showing them their love and affection, through the gifts that they buy.
Now don't get me wrong, this is a great thing to do during the Christmas season, being that it's a time of giving and receiving.
But in spite of this, I also want you to know that there is a greater love.
I also want you to know, there is a gift, a precious
gift, that has and will give us tremendous benefits and blessings from within this natural life and beyond.
Understand that this gift that I'm speaking of, is the gift that deals with eternal salvation.
I also want you to know, this gift was made available through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For He is the One who was given to us, by our Heavenly Father the Almighty God. Keep in mind, that eternal salvation is made only available, through the Lord Jesus Christ. For He was sent in order to provide forgiveness from our sins. He was also sent, in order to provide us with the gift of eternal life. I mean after all, the presents that we buy, and the gifts that we receive during the Christmas season, will bring us joy for that moment and perhaps for a short period of time afterwards. But the gifts that Jesus Christ gives us, will touch our hearts and minds for eternity.
This Scripture states that the qualification for eternal salvation requires that "whosoever believes in Him." Understand that you don't need an educational degree, or certain unique qualifications in order to receive this gift called eternal life. No my friend, this gift comes from the love of God. I'll ask you this: "What person can beat God, when it comes to loving?" That's okay I'll answer it: "None!" To put it simply, there's not one person in your life, who's love for you, could produce this type of gift.

Accepting Christ
2 Corinthians 6:1,2 states: "We
then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive
the grace of God in vain. For He says: 'In an acceptable time I have
heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.' Behold, now
is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
Now
if you haven't received Christ as your Lord and Savior, I would like to
suggest and urge to you, to receive as your Savior before it's too late
for you to do so. Make Him the most precious gift that you'll receive
this Christmas season (or any other season). Understand that no other
present or gift, will match your gift of salvation, that comes from the
Lord. Will you accept this gift today?
My beloved, make this the
day that you will accept your gift of eternal salvation, and know that
your Christmas and the New Year, and your life in general, will be
forever changed. Make no mistake, you'll never be the same again. I pray
that you'll be blessed as you receive Christ in your life, as your Lord
and Savior. Remember that His gift of eternal salvation, is the most
precious gift that you'll ever receive.
I want to take this time
to say, I love you with the love of the Lord and may the Lord continue
to be a blessing to you, as you continue to read and learn about His
wonderful Word. I hope the Bible devotions that I'm sharing with you, will be a blessing to you, in so many ways.
